1967 Jaguar XKE Roadster

This Series 1 XKE was reportedly restored in 2006. Its Jaguar Heritage certificate is shown in the gallery. A partial list of notable currently installed equipment reported by the selling dealer includes 15-inch wire wheels, covered headlights, a removable hardtop, a folding soft top, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt stereo. Also known as the E-Type, the XKE made its debut in 1961 and quickly became one of Jaguar's most emblematic models. It launched with a 3.8-liter straight-6 that delivered excellent performance, and it handled well thanks to an independent rear suspension system. Jaguar made numerous changes to the XKE, including making bigger engines and a 2+2 model available. Production ended in 1975. Power comes from a 4.2-liter straight-6 with 3 SU carburetors, rated at about 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a fully synchronized 4-speed manual transmission.
