Description

2016 Mercedes-AMG G63 Brabus G700 4x4², finished in Deep Black with a black interior. Brabus USA confirmed that this G700 4x4² was built at its headquarters in Irvine, California. It also states that it is the only example built there. A screenshot of the confirmation is included in the gallery. The odometer currently displays approximately 6,600 miles. The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies in this SUV's past. It also confirms that this was a one-owner car until the selling dealer purchased it in 2021 and that it has been owned in Southern states since it was new. The list of modifications made by Brabus to turn a G63 into a 4x4² includes portal axles, Öhlins dampers with external oil reservoirs, 18-inch wheels, 37-inch off-road tires, a central tire inflation system, a B63 S-700 engine tune, a carbon fiber body kit, and more as detailed below. Mercedes-Benz joined forces with Steyr-Daimler-Puch to create the original G-Class (W460). It was released in 1979 and aimed largely at farmers and adventurers; Beverly Hills wasn't on the company's radar yet. The G's upmarket ascent started when the extensively updated W463 arrived in 1990. It looked a lot like the original G, but it gained a longer list of features and a permanent four-wheel-drive system. Several AMG-developed models were later released for buyers who needed to complement off-road prowess with on-road performance, including the mighty G63. Civilian production ended in 2018. Power comes from a 5.5-liter "M157" turbocharged V8, rated at 563 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Brabus claims that its B63 S-700 tune increases those figures to 690 and 708, respectively, but a dyno sheet is not available. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission linked to steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, a 2-speed transfer case, and 3 locking differentials. Equipment A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes: Sunroof Black lacquer interior trim Designo leather upholstery Leather-upholstered dashboard Heated and power-adjustable front seats Memory function for the front passengers Heated rear seats Heated steering wheel Harman Kardon Logic7 surround-sound system COMAND Online infotainment system with DVD player Front and rear parking sensors Rear-view camera Modifications Modifications reported by the seller include:
